H&M has been collaborating with renowned designers for ages. Creators from around the world seem to love developing capsule collections with the Swedish fashion giant – from Karl Lagerfeld’s black and white collection, to Alber Elbaz from Lanvin’s playful collection, to Olivier Rousteing from Balmain’s futuristic Amazonian collection.
This summer, H&M teamed up with GP & J Baker, a British wallpaper and textile company founded more than 100 years ago.
In this collection designed for women, we have the privilege to dress up like real works of art. H&M’s design team selected iconic prints that are part of GP & J Baker’s DNA, including the “Magnolia” print painted by William Turner for GP & J Baker in 1913, and the classic “Oriental Bird, Blossom & Hydrangea Bird” print.
Light and romantic pieces are what await you. The silhouettes are fluid and voluminous, and contain fabulous details like balloon sleeves, lace inserts, and contrasting printed borders.
The collection has been available since August 2 in some stores and online.
