Ann Brashares – The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (4 books)

In high school, these were our go-to books. I’m pretty sure every girl from my generation has read at least one of them. They tell the story of four very different girls, united by a magical pair of jeans that fits them all perfectly. The four besties go through heartbreaks and puberty together. Through this traveling pair of jeans, we follow the trials and tribulations of the girls’ adolescence, and it brings me right back to my teen years! It’s a feel good read!

John P. Strelecky – The Why Cafe, Return to the Why Cafe (2 books)

My friend Jade wrote an article about her favourite books to read while traveling, and obviously The Why Cafe made the list! John P. Strelecky wrote two books that make you reflect on your life, on the reason you’re here, and on the path you’re following. So if you need to recenter or just need some answers, they may be the books for you.

Jen Sincero – You Are a Badass, You Are a Badass at Making Money  (2 books)

I’ve read a lot of motivational books over the past few years, but I must say that this one has the same effect as a kick in the butt! Her writing is hilarious and fun, while remaining straightforward and empowering. When I read her books, I always feel energized, goal-oriented, and ready for anything. If life gives me lemons, I’m so ready to make lemonade! This is a book that I would read again and again!
